Canadian Rule +
Hey there - to take the Canadian rule even further...we play it so that the bidding can never be even - and someone ALWAYS goes down...it is quite fun
that way and very cut throat!
Anyone else ever play like this??

Never Even?
Yes. There are many variations and this is a common one. It seems a little unreasonable at the 1 or 2 card level. On the first hand the last to bid
may have to bid 1 while holding only a joker. Some people use this rule from the 5th hand on. Whatever works for you.

We play so that all except the first deal cannot add up. For the first hand, you show everyone else your card but do not look at it yourself.
