Regular Wizard. Start Time 7PM EDT.
A "check-in acknowledged" will be posted by the hosts (aniram, wert, verona, carles) on the main chat. An UPDATED CHECKED-IN list of registered players will be posted as needed from 6:30PM EDT to 7PM EDT.
If a player registered for the NOV 5th "FIREWORKS" tournament DOES NOT check-in by 7PM EDT, that player will be DELETED from the tournament. Period.
The reason for these rules is to ensure a smooth table assignment process at the start of the tournament.
We (Directors, Director assistants) will respectfully ask ( LIFE HAPPENS!) registered players throughout the day, NOV 5, until 6:30PM EDT, to please, please let us know if they won't be able to participate in the tournament.
This will allow us to adjust the table player assignments as needed.
Why the early tournament prep?? To give everyone a fair chance to make TOP THREE, enjoy INCREDIBLE BRAGGING RIGHTS and win $$$ prizes !!
For example, all 3 rounds of tables will be pre-created with a focus on players NOT playing each other more than once. That's why we are requiring a check in just before the NOV 5th tournament starts, so that we can rearrange tables LAST MINUTE if we get NO SHOWS.)
====
The tournament will consist of THREE ROUNDS that EVERYONE registered will play. Please do NOT stray far from your computer as EVERYONE registered will play THREE ROUNDS. Again, everyone registered for tournament must commit to playing THREE rounds of Wizard. A time commitment of 2.5 hours plus an extra 30 minutes for those lucky, talented 6 that reach the final table is required.
The THREE rounds played by registered players will determine the SIX players who will play Final Table. Points will be awarded depending on the position won in each round.
Please notice that priority is given to winning 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, regardless of whether the game is a 5 or 6 player game. Yes, it is easier to come in 1st/2nd/3rd place in a 5 player game instead of a 6 player game, but the players have no say in whether they end up in a 5 or 6 player game.
Each of the first three games will have only ONE 1st place, ONE 2nd place, One 3rd place, etc.
Tie Game Considerations for each of the first three games:
1. Fewest breaks wins (first consideration).
2. Player who came from behind (second consideration).
Six Player game
1st place - 21 2nd place - 17 3rd place - 13
4th place - 7 5th place - 5 6th place -1
Five player game
1st place - 21 2nd place - 17 3rd place - 13
4th place - 5 5th place - 1
FINAL TABLE will consist of 6 players with the highest total points won from the first three games.
Tie Game Considerations for making Final Table:
1. Fewest total breaks added up from all three games (first consideration).
2. Highest total score added up from all 3 games (second consideration).

The Wizard Tournament program is coded right now to ALWAYS have CR checked for Regular Wizard. This means that on the LAST hand, if the player with the highest score is the last one to bid, that player can't make it an even bid.
Final table Cash prizes 1st Plain, players registered for the NOV 5th "FIREWORKS" tournament must commit to up tace - $200USD 2nd Place - $100USD 3rd Place - $50USD
Tie Game Considerations for Final table Prizes.
1. Fewest breaks (first consideration).
2. Player who came from behind (second consideration).
