Good Advice to another player

What ONE piece of advice regarding BIDDING or PLAYING of cards would you provide to help another player?

Better to bid low. New players tend to overbid.

You need to be counting the number of wizards played and left to be played. How many times do you see someone who has bid 1, with a wizard, but they don't play it in time and don't take a trick?
