General Introduction to Site
* This "site primer" is designed to walk you around the Wizard web site. If you want information on "how to get started playing a game" visit
"Bulletin Boards" then "FAQ:Wizard Cards" then "FAQ:Online Version 'Connections'.
Intro: The 12 areas shown to the right of the Wizard logo are "doorways" to different areas of the site.
1. PORTAL
The opening page (Home Page) is known as the "Portal".
2. BULLETIN BOARDS
When clicked several areas become available for you to explore. The titles are self-explanatory. i.e. "Suggestions", "How to Play", "Anecdotes" etc.
You should not only read these areas but contribute to them as well. By clicking "Post Reply" you can comment on a topic. By clicking "New Topic" you
can contribute new material of your own.
3. FAQ
Visit this area to discover answers to many specific questions about how to use this site.
4. SEARCH
This is your basic tool for searching for information on the site.
5. AVATAR GALLERY
Select from over 3,200 avatars.
Avatar = a graphical icon that represents you on the Wizard web site.
6. MEMBERS
Every "username' is listed here. There are four "sort" options available.
You can move from page to page or if you click on the chevrons on either side of the page numbers you leap to the start or end of the list.
By clicking on a member's name you gain access to that member's profile.
7. PRESS RELEASES
Press releases and other corporate information is shown here.
8. ONLINE T. (Tournaments)
This area is strictly for entering a tournament that has been announced.
For much more information on 'tournaments' in general click on "Bulletin Boards" then "Tournaments".
9. DOWNLOADS
This is where you download the latest version of the "Wizard" online game. (see note at top re: 'connections'.)
10. RETAIL STORES
This area lists stores where Wizard can be purchased. U.S. stores are listed first alphabetically by state. Following that are web sites where Wizard
is advertised. Last are Canadian stores alphabetically by province.
