DO YOU HAVE A WIZARD ADDICTION?

WARNING SIGNS THAT YOU MAY HAVE A PROBLEM

Do you:

1. Constantly think about Wizard?
2. Need to play Wizard for longer periods to get the same kind of excitement?
3. Spend more time than you can afford playing Wizard?
4. Chase losses? (Play more to try to get your score back up.)
5. Lie about the amount of time you really spend playing Wizard?
6. Find it difficult to cut down on your amount of play?
7. Feel guilty about the time you spend playing?
8. Resent being told that you have a problem?
9. Play to escape personal problems?
10. Neglect personal, family or work responsibilities to play?
11. Prefer playing to attending family functions?
12. Have arguments at home about playing?
13. Experience mood changes based on whether you win or lose?

• If you answered ‘Yes” to 6 or more of these questions you may have a problem.

Addressing the Situation

1. Do not hide the problem.
2. Seek help from friends or professionals.
3. Choose the right moment to discuss your problem.
4. Set firm limits to your play and stick to them.
5. Remember that change takes time.
