Clarification regarding Tie-scores. (Dated 12.17.2019.)
The total number of Master Points available as rewards for players is determined by adding the points available for the top three positions.
E.g. If there are 12 players in the tournament the available Master Points total 21.

(a) If 2 players are tied for first the MP awarded are:
Two tied for first receive half of 12+6=18. Each receive 9 MP. The next highest score receives 3 MP.
(b) If 2 players are tied for second the MP awarded are:
First place receives 12 MP. The 2 players tied for second receive half of 6+3=9. Each receive 5 MP (no half points are awarded)
(c) If 2 players are tied for third place the MP awarded are: First 12 MP, Second 6 MP, and each of the players tied for third receive half of 3 MP which is 2 MP as no half points are awarded.
(d) If 3 players are tied for First place the MP awarded are one-third of 12+6+3= 21 which is 7 MP each.
The total MP awarded cannot total more than the total number of players in the tournament + One-half of the total number of players + One-quarter of the total number of players .
