There is more skill involved in the regular wizard game.
Too many rounds in the German version where you can't bid what you want to bid.
In regular wizard, you have the ability on an even bid to take tricks away from one player, meaning a 2nd player will take a trick they don't want. Even bid if played with purpose allows players to move up and done in position. In German Version, you mostly have only 1 player move lower in position per round.
