Hello Wizard community.
If you are getting this email it means you have been selected to represent North America in the upcoming North America (NA) vs European (EUR) Online
Tournament.
Congratulations!
Some of you already know what the tournament is and in the spirit of getting other players involved, I have invited some new players as well. So a
very quick recap.
1 Carles from Spain issues a challenge to NA to compete in a head to head tournament. This year it is on the last Saturday in April and the first
Saturday in May.
2 The tournament consists of 4 variations - Regular, Magic, German and Camelot
3 Two Captains are selected to pick players, organize who is playing what, set up practices and such.
4 There are 16 spots and this year I'm trying to limit the total number of players to 12. Meaning some of you get to play on both weekends.0
5 Last year Team NA won! So we are defending champions.
What I need from you.
1 Are you willing to play this year?
2 Which of the two Saturdays are you free or not free to play?
3 I need a list of your favourite variations
Note: Make your lists like this 1 German, 2 Regular.3 Magic, 4 Camelot
Also note: If you are only available on one of the two Saturday, then you are limited to what is being played on that Saturday
• April 26, 4:00 pm EDT: Wizard Regular deck.
• April 26, not before 5:00 pm EDT: Wizard Magic
• May 3, 4:00 pm EDT: Wizard German deck
• May 3, not before 5:00 pm EDT: Wizard Camelot
So if you are not available in April then your choices are either German or Camelot. If these are variations you don't wish to play, then best to
let me know you are not interested in playing this year. I don't want players playing variations that they don't like or feel they aren't good at.
We have a tournament to win here
I'm really excited to defend our title as Champions after winning last year.
(NOTE: Carles did a LOT of recruiting at the World Championship in Germany last year. He's planning to bring in ringers from that tournament so we
will be greatly challenged this year).
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out to me.
Again Congratulations on your selections and I hope you all are available to play
